A unique solution for vertical pipelines: magnetic filter MSP-VT 250 N CRAB for vertical DN 250 pipelines, resistant up to 120 °C and 25 bar

Initial status:

A chemical company was looking for an effective solution to remove ferromagnetic particles from a liquid transported in a DN 250 vertical pipe. Conventional magnetic separators proved to be unsatisfactory because their heavy weight made them difficult to handle during cleaning.

Problem:

The operation required a reliable magnetic filter capable of capturing even the smallest iron particles at high temperatures and pressures. Existing solutions have failed several times due to:

  • Difficult cleaning of the heavy magnetic component
  • Insufficient separation efficiency
  • Risk of contamination of the final product

 

Solution:

We have designed and supplied the magnetic trap MSP-VT 250 N CRAB, ideal for installation in vertical pipes DN 250. This innovative solution includes guiding rods firmly connecting the magnetic component to the separator body. It makes cleaning easier and reduces the injury risk.
