The advantage of Eddy current separators is their high efficiency and speed. It means they can be used in industrial processes with high production capacity. Eddy current separators are very efficient tools for recycling and processing metallic materials.
It should be emphasized that ECS separators are not used for the separation of ferromagnetic impurities. So they work properly, the material to be separated must be free of ferromagnetic contaminants (e.g. by pre-positioning a conventional magnetic separator). The separator captures any isolated ferromagnetic contaminants.
