Advantages of demagnetizers

  • Handheld, tabletop and tunnel demagnetizers
  • Depth of demagnetization field: up to 40 mm
  • Demagnetization of larger as well as smaller objects
  • Overheat protection
  • Compact and robust design
  • Demagnetizers in stock
  • Equipment can be loaned

Demagnetizers

Demagnetizers are devices designed for removing magnetic properties from various parts, tools, drills etc. The reduction of the residual magnetism is achieved by the exposure of the object to the external alternating magnetic field.

To demagnetize smaller parts and tools, demagnetizing tables (also called surface type demagnetizers) are used; however, hand demagnetizers are used during the demagnetization of larger parts and workpieces. Both above mentioned demagnetizers are designed for manual demagnetization.

If a larger number of parts is to be demagnetized, it is advisable to use a tunnel demagnetizer (sometimes called also loop type demagnetizer).
