Magnetic testing rods MTV
The stainless steel encased rare earth inspection rod MTV is designed to detect ferrous metals. The magnetic tube probe is used at scrap yards & recycling centers for the inspection of the collected non-ferrous metals, at critical control points (CCP) of the production lines etc.
How is the magnetic stick used?
Just insert the magnetic probe into the tested material in several locations and remove it slowly to check for ferrous contaminants on the magnetic tube probe. The very strong neodymium NdFeB magnets inside of the sorting tube can also detect even the finest ferromagnetic particles in plastic materials (such as plastic regrind and granules, crushed plastic materials, plastic crumb, rejected plastics etc.).
Cleaning of the magnetic testing rod
The magnetic probe is light-weight, easy to handle and can be cleaned quickly and efficiently by realeasing the catch and sliding out the magnetic inner tube (which causes the magnetic particles to fall away).
Dimensions of magnetic testing rods
The magnetic inspection rods are manufactured in diameters of 22 and 32 mm and in lengths of 400 and 1100 mm (with 160 mm of magnet area at end of the probe).
