Our separator with ALARM system signals that the magnetic grids in the separator are filled with trapped metals (reducing its efficiency) and need to be cleaned. ECS separator of non-ferrous metals works on the principle of so called eddy currents. Very quickly rotating magnetic poles create the versatile and short magnetic field magnetizing every conductive particle occuring in its outreach for the limited time. That is why the magnetized materials are repulsed and thrown away automatically out of the conveyor belt. For conveyor belts from 500 to 2000 mm.

The magnetic grate is a simple separator designed to separate ferromagnetic particles from free-flowing dry materials. The basic elements the magnetic grate consists of are telescopic magnetic tubes.
